We slept well again at the Resort Belvedere in Vrsar.
Today we have another excursion including a tasting, but we are not leaving very early today, departure is not until half past nine. That means we can have a leisurely breakfast today.

A van arrives on time, we get on and two more people are picked up. Then the van drives to the exit of a highway and there we wait for a large bus, which arrives after about ten minutes.
When we get on it turns out that we have the same tour guide as last Monday. Just like last Monday, the weather is bad, it is raining, luckily we have umbrellas with us.
Na een korte rit over soms erg smalle wegen komen we aan in Grožnjan, een dorpje waar veel kunstenaars wonen. Many villages in Croatia are emptying, residents are moving to the cities, but here they have succeeded in attracting new residents. We have an hour and a half to look around.
It is a nice old village that is well maintained, and it is busy with tourists. There are three cafes in the village, and we have a drink in one of them. And then we go back to the bus.

It is still raining a little as we drive to the next village, Oprtalj. This is a completely different kind of village, deserted, only a few people live there, many houses are dilapidated and even on the verge of collapse. The people in this village have not been able to attract new residents, like in Grožnjan.

After looking around for a while, we go back to the bus and visit a viewpoint that is not included in the excursion. It's really beautiful there, and it's starting to get dry.
On to the last part of the excursion, a visit to a winery of the company Coslovich for wine tasting. Three types of wine are tasted, white, red and muscat, and some grappa-like distillates can also be tasted. Of course there is homemade cheese, sausage and bacon and that is of course also tasted. And then there is also a cute dog walking around who really likes attention.
And of course there is a shop where everything we tasted is sold. We take a bottle with a kind of grappa and dried sausage with us.

The mood is starting to rise, but we have to get back to the bus and we are taken to the hotel.
We don't feel like looking for a restaurant anymore and so we eat in the hotel again, at Lovor Real Grill.
